Classic Protein Pancake Recipe. Luv Stefani

Everyone always asks me how I manage to eat healthy all the time. I think the main reason I am able to stick with it is because my food is not boring at all. I mean yes sometimes I would rather be eating ice cream, or pizza, but I have found a way to eat food I really enjoy, and still stick to my fitness goals. Most of the time I would rather have my own healthy version of a recipe, than the real thing because I feel so much better compared to when I eat the junk food version. Protein pancakes are one of my favourite go to breakfasts, snack, or sweet tooth fixes that I have been making for years.

Classic Protein Pancake 1 Serving


1/2 cup rolled oats

1 tsp baking powder pinch sea salt

Pinch cinnamon

1/2 banana

1 scoop protein powder

2 egg whites or 1/4 cup egg whites

2 tbs unsweetened almond milk


1.Blend all the ingredients together to form a pancake batter.

2. Spoon or pour out two pancakes into a lightly greased non-stick pan

3. Cook on med-low for 2 min a side

They should rise, and fluff up like normal pancakes. If they are undercooked they won’t flip. If you overcook them they may turn out very spongey & hard.

I like to top them with peanut butter, almond butter, fresh fruit, sugar free syrup, or a tiny drizzle of high grade organic maple syrup.
